2020年4月にバンド史上最大規模となる初の三大ドームツアーのファイナルとして予定されていた東京ドーム公演が新型コロナウイルス感染症の影響で中止となり、その後新たに発表された4公演「30th Anniversary LIVE」。
3公演目の会場である国立代々木競技場第一体育館は、2016年に再集結を果たしたTHE YELLOW MONKEYが初めてライブを行った、記念すべき「シーズン2の幕開け」の場所。
当日は政府のガイドラインに準じた会場の半分のキャパシティである5,700人のオーディエンスが集まったほか、ストリーミング配信も同時に開催され、この日だけの特別なセットリストで多くのファンを魅了しました。

The finale of the band’s first tour involving the three major Domes, the largest concert in the band’s history, was originally scheduled to take place at Tokyo Dome in April 2020. This concert was unfortunately canceled due to COVID-19 before a series of four concerts “30th Anniversary LIVE” was then announced.
Yoyogi National Gymnasium, which is the venue of the third concert, was also the memorable site of “Opening of Season 2” at which THE YELLOW MONKEY performed for the very first time after the band reformed in 2016.
This concert attracted an audience of 5,700 people, which is half the venue capacity that was stipulated by government guidelines. There was also a live stream of the concert, which captivated numerous fans with a setlist that was specially planned for the day.
